BBL #5 Paris WiMLDS Paper Reading Session
March 19 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
WiMLDS Paris has another format: paper reading sessions. These sessions happen at lunchtime, each 3rd Thursday of the month. The goal of these events is to take some time to discuss Machine Learning and Data Science papers that we found interesting, and take the opportunity to discover ML-passionate people in Paris.
The events’ spots are limited so discussions between attendees remain possible.
This session’s papers will be:
– “An Active Learning Approach for Reducing
Annotation Cost in Skin Lesion Analysis” (Xueying Shi, Qi Dou, Cheng Xue, Jing Qin, Hao Chen, Pheng-Ann Heng, https://bit.ly/2uLp5s3), presented by Marie Sacksick,
– “CraftAssist Instruction Parsing: Semantic Parsing for a Minecraft
Assistant” (Yacine Jernit, Kavya Srinet, Jonathan Gray Arthur Szlam, https://bit.ly/39gPwEL), presented by Betty Moreschini,
– and group discussions around that paper and related subjects (e.g. active learning, nlp, ai in games, …).
Welcome and lunch (discussions are smoother with a full stomach)
Lunch is provided by Agorize, please reach out to organizers about any food allergy or restriction you might have.
